Learning Objectives:
- To explain and delineate Medically Assisted Treatment in a Substance Abuse Treatment Program
- To explain the different components of MAT: ie: Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Vivitrol
- To demonstrate how MAT and traditional clinical treatment compliment the client’s recovery
- To address the issue of long term MAT maintenance vs. short term MAT tapering

Instructor Biographie:
Dr. Rob White, DNP, APN, BC
Robert White is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in therapy and psycho-pharmacological treatment across the life span. A graduate of The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University, he also received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University. Dr. White has over 20 years of practice working in the field of mental health and substance abuse.

Course Completion Requirements:
To complete this course attendees must remain to the end of the training, and hand in a completed Conference evaluation form to the administrative staff at the completion of the training. Course completion certificates will be handed out by the administrative staff at the end of the training upon receipt of a completed Conference Evaluation.
